Skills – Good understanding of college students and an ability to relate to them according to their interests, needs, aspirations, and communication styles. Willingness to travel and interact with students on college campuses. Ability to coordinate and execute multiple interactions with students and faculty at a variety of institutions. Able to keep sensitive personnel information and issues confidential. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-starter and the ability to work with little supervision and finish tasks in a timely manner. Proficiency with productivity software such as MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Experience – Prefer two or more years’ experience in recruitment.
Responsibilities – Build relationships with Christian college students who are pursuing or have degrees in accounting, business administration, communications, public relations, media, and technology/engineering. Organize opportunities for students to use their skills and gifting in world missions through senior design projects, spring break work teams, and summer internships. Develop relationships with college administrators and professors through interaction on joint projects, college fairs, special programs, and events.
