Lead Bookkeeper / Accountant

Our finance department oversees the financial resources of our organization and enables us to wisely manage our income and expenses. Steward the blessings the Lord has given us through your skills in finance and accounting.

Skills – Enjoys doing detailed work and producing accurate records. Able to give guidance to other finance staff.  Good verbal and written communication skills.

Experience – Prefer two years of experience in accounting using QuickBooks. Experience with an inventory management software such as Fishbowl and donation software such as Donor Perfect are highly desired.

Responsibilities – Responsible for accurate accounting records in QuickBooks through recording of receipts, payments, invoicing, bank deposits, bank reconciliation, cash disbursements, cash advances, and other such duties as needed. The individual will ensure accuracy of financial records, provide guidance to other accounting staff, represent the ministry to a broad range of customers and suppliers, and provide project research and coordination. The individual will report directly to the Director of Finance.

This is a part-time position (24-28 hours) that requires the raising of financial support (missionary) or the capacity to be self-funded (volunteer).  Applicant must be able to sign the SonSet Solutions Statement of Faith. Contact us for a complete job description.
