Praise and Prayer-May 4, 2018

Airline strike delays radio transmitter repair in Central African Republic – A SonSet Solutions engineer’s trip to the Central African Republic (CAR) for our partner Water for Good to repair their radio station’s transmitter was postponed due to an airline strike. Also, inter-faith violence has occurred recently in the capital and periodically elsewhere in the country. Pray for resumption of flights so that the transmitter can be repaired and the broadcasts restored, and that the station’s message will bring unity and peace through Christ to all the people of the CAR.

SonSet Solutions Canada receives tax-exempt status – Praise the Lord that SonSet Solutions Canada received its tax-exempt status from authorities. Pray for executive director Ian Leaver and the board of directors as they shape the new organization for fruitful service.

Seeking open doors for importation of SonSet® radios – Thank God for new possibilities for ministry collaboration that continue to spring from our recent experiences in Uganda. Radio Usalama FM in northern Uganda has one million refugees living within its coverage area. Pray for the door to open for duty-free importation of SonSet radios so that more of these refugees can hear a message of hope and reconciliation.
