Being a faithful minister of the gospel in the midst of overwhelming circumstances can be lonely. As chief engineer for the Haitian Christian broadcast network, Radio Lumiere, Peniel is responsible for the care of 12 transmitter sites, seven studio complexes and four mountain-top relays. The challenges of a poor national infrastructure and insufficient numbers of qualified technical workers create a recipe for despair.
But when a violent earthquake, a devastating hurricane and a family health crisis struck, Peniel had a friend he could count on – SonSet Solutions. We responded quickly with personnel and equipment to help restore broadcast operations, and our teammates even collected a special offering. Our “technology-based solutions” come with both a love for the ministry workers we serve and a long-term commitment to help them remain active and effective.
In 2017, we have been that dependable friend for at least 160 of the Lord’s people who minister in a wide variety of difficult environments. They are counting on us to be there throughout 2018 as well. Your participation with us will help make this a reality.
The SonSet Solutions year-end funding campaign kicks off November 1 with a goal of $353,000 for the entire year. Everyone on our board of directors has already individually committed to this effort. In order to encourage early participation, some of our board members have committed to match all campaign gifts in November up to $30,000! With your help, we will provide solutions for Peniel and many like him in 2018. We count it a privilege to partner with you in this work that harnesses technology for the cause of Christ.
