Disciples Who Make Disciples

“Making disciples who become disciple-makers.”

This is the passion of iTEE Global (Internet Theological Education by Extension), whose goal is to provide biblical ministry education to church leaders around the world.

One such church leader is a man named Francis Macauley in Sierra Leone who pastors a church in the capital city of Freetown. Taking numerous online courses provided by iTEE Global, Pastor Francis has been equipped with a deeper knowledge of the word of God in order to be more effective in his ministry. Now he meets regularly with a group of his church members to teach them, using the same courses he’d been trained with himself. In spite of the challenges of being off the electrical grid and having to use phone flashlights for their evening meetings, lives are being transformed.

“They have now understood the difference between their old lives and their new lives now that they are found in Christ,” Pastor Francis shared.

He is also the national coordinator of Amazing Revival Evangelism Movement, which has already reached 90 remote villages with the gospel, and he has a huge burden for reaching more people in these isolated areas.

Two of his church members, who now serve as pastors with him, expressed their desire to go to some of these other areas of the country to plant churches, doing for others what Pastor Francis did for them.

On a recent trip to Sierra Leone, a team from SonSet Solutions had the opportunity to visit the church in Freetown and install a Solar Ministry Toolkit, providing them with lights and a speaker system, solving the problem they faced with their evening meetings. With electricity no longer a barrier, Pastor Francis is now able to focus on equipping his church members, just like iTEE Global did for him: to go and make disciples who make disciples.
