Cynthia Peguero Elvas is completing her sophomore year studying Film and Media Production with a double major in Marketing Management and a minor in Ministry Leadership at Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Originally from the Dominican Republic, Cynthia has cultivated a passion for storytelling and community impact through her diverse experiences in film, media, and ministry.
Cynthia wants to serve as a summer intern with SonSet Solutions to engage in creative work that advances the gospel worldwide. It also gives her a unique opportunity to pursue on-the-job spiritual and professional growth, while working in a missions context. Cynthia will assist in the creation and organization of communication pieces that tell what God is doing around the world and how people can engage with the ministry of SonSet Solutions.
She shares, “SonSet Solutions’ vision to use technology to advance the gospel resonates deeply with my passion for blending creativity and faith to make a meaningful impact. I believe God has equipped me with the skills and experiences to communicate His love effectively through the media. Being part of a team dedicated to innovation and ministry excites me, as it reflects my calling to glorify God by serving others and sharing His truth with the world.”
Through this internship, Cynthia looks forward to deepening her professional and spiritual growth while contributing to a mission-driven organization that reflects her desire to integrate her talents, faith, and global perspective for God's glory.
