FM Transmitters

SonSet Solutions engineers have designed portable, easy-to-operate, FM transmitters. These transmitters are now manufactured by Crown Broadcast and are available at reduced prices through SonSet Solutions. The transmitter output power is front panel adjustable and a built-in audio processor/stereo generator is included. Crown transmitters are available in various models ranging from 30 watts to 600 watts.

In addition, Crown Broadcast also offers the “E” series of transmitters manufactured by Ecreso (part of WorldCast Systems) headquartered in Bordeaux, France. The “E” series transmitters are available in various models ranging from 100 watts to 2,000 watts.

SonSet Solutions designs and manufactures FM antenna systems. Our antennas are designed so that they can be easily installed and adjusted in the field.

Shortwave Transmitters

The TB1000 shortwave transmitter was designed by our SonSet Solutions engineers and is manufactured at our Elkhart, Indiana, facility. The TB1000 transmitter operates in the four shortwave tropical bands and the two lowest international shortwave bands (2.3 – 7.3 MHz). It was developed to meet the need for a compact, easily transported shortwave broadcast station that can be set up and operated anywhere in the world. By delivering program content up to a distance of 300 to 400 miles during daytime hours, it is the perfect tool for delivering the gospel to remote and sparsely populated regions.

SonSet Solutions designs and manufactures shortwave antenna systems for use with our TB1000 shortwave transmitter. Our antennas are designed so that they can be easily installed and adjusted in the field.

SonSet Solutions is a faith-based mission that supplies engineering and technical support to churches, mission organizations or individuals who have an interest in developing a radio ministry. It is important to understand that SonSet Solutions does not have any financial resources to establish radio stations. Those who serve at SonSet Solutions are missionaries and are responsible for raising their own financial support.

The ministries we assist are responsible for raising their own funds, obtaining proper government authorizations, acquiring or renting real estate for studio/transmitter facilities and antenna towers and arranging for utilities. They are also responsible for providing their own programming content.
