Computer Engineering Internship
Use your computer engineering skills to power the gospel. At SonSet Solutions in Elkhart, Indiana, we use technology to support ministries worldwide—and you can be part of that mission. As a Computer Engineering Intern, you’ll contribute to innovative hardware and software systems that bring clean water, sustainable energy, and the message of Jesus Christ to remote communities. You’ll gain hands-on experience while serving alongside engineers and missionaries dedicated to advancing the gospel.
What You’ll Do
Contribute to engineering and software projects such as:
- Research and prototyping of mission-critical hardware and software systems
- Embedded systems and electronics design
- Backend, mobile, and web development for field-deployed tools
- Testing and support for devices using satellite and cellular networks
What We’re Looking For
- A follower of Jesus Christ with a heart for missions
- At least two years into a technical degree (computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or similar)
- Interested in embedded systems, electronics, coding, and cross-disciplinary design
- Willing to raise financial support (covers stipend, room & board, and travel reimbursement)
- Committed to a full-time summer internship (10-week minimum)
- Willing to uphold our Statement of Faith
