Lake Heath is completing his junior year studying mechanical engineering at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. He is from Boone, North Carolina, and has served as a missionary with his family in Peru. He is active in the Engineering Missions and Research Club on Liberty’s campus. Lake wants to serve as a summer intern with SonSet Solutions to engage in technical work that advances the gospel worldwide. It also gives him a unique opportunity to pursue on-the-job spiritual and professional growth, while working in a missions context. Lake will assist with the research and development of equipment and solutions to meet the real-world needs of our ministry partners.
He shares that, “The thing that most compels me to be part of a team with SonSet Solutions is their passion and desire to make Jesus known among the nations. The organization makes it clear that its purpose is to use the gifts, abilities, and opportunities God provides to advance His kingdom and work alongside His global church to make Jesus known. I believe that the Lord has given me intellectual and technical abilities that He wants me to use (and that I want to use) for His glory, and SonSet Solutions seems to have that same understanding, purpose, and desire.”
