Interning with a Purpose

Each year, SonSet Solutions offers university students internship opportunities that expose them to ways they can develop their educational skills within a mission’s context. This year, we had three engineers, one communications intern, and two software-development interns.

Caleb Yoon, one of our engineering interns, explains why he recommends this opportunity to students. He says, “The internship gives a lot of exposure to the support-raising process, community element of missions, and the technical engineering work that we do.”

Luke Hess, one of our software-development interns, shared how the internship impacted him spiritually. “We had a lot of time this summer to think about and discuss the Great Commission. I feel like my understanding of what God expects from us as Christians has grown tremendously, and I have been convicted to play a more serious role in bringing the gospel to unreached people.”

The SonSet Solutions internship program is designed to develop well-rounded individuals who are growing in their field of study, looking to be spiritually enriched, and are committed to God’s commission. Interns leave the program not only with stronger skills in their sphere of learning but also with a reinforced sense of purpose and community, ready to make meaningful contributions in both their professional careers and for the gospel.

The early application window for summer 2025 internships opens September 1, 2024, and closes November 30, 2024. If you are a university student or know someone who is, don’t miss this chance to be part of influencing and solving today’s ministry challenges.
