Who You Are
- Called to serve in missions
- Skilled in operating and programming CNC and manual machining equipment
- Experienced in leading machining teams and coordinating production jobs
- Proficient with standard machine shop tools
- Knowledgeable in mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes
- Strong in problem-solving, quality control, and preventive maintenance
- Capable of reading technical drawings and collaborating with engineering teams
- Excellent in communication and team leadership
- Bonus: Experienced with CAD/CAM software
How You Will Serve
- Lead and manage machine shop operations and supervise machining staff
- Coordinate manufacturing jobs from design teams, ensuring quality and timelines
- Operate and program CNC mills, lathes, and other precision machining equipment
- Oversee preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of all shop equipment
- Collaborate with other teams on manufacturability and process optimization
- Train and mentor other machinists and engineers in machining
- Manage shop scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation
- Support prototype development and production runs for ministry applications
