Maddie Mills is completing her junior year studying electrical engineering at Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania, and is from Niskayuna, New York. She spent the summer of 2025 living and working in Cambodia through an electrical engineering internship while also serving with FCA and other children's ministries. Through these experiences, Maddie discovered a desire to combine her technical training with a calling to missions. She hopes to serve as a summer intern with SonSet Solutions to use her heart for missions and her mind for engineering in a unified way, while growing through mentorship and discipleship as she pursues a future in engineering missions.
She shares, "I am excited about the opportunity to serve with SonSet Solutions because it aligns so closely with my calling to missions through electrical engineering. While serving in Cambodia last summer, God began to call me into missions, but I initially struggled to understand how my degree could be used in that context. Through SonSet, He has shown me a way to steward the technical skills He has given me to serve others and advance the gospel. The mentorship and discipleship offered by SonSet will be invaluable as I seek to discern where God is leading me and prepare for a future in engineering missions."
