Ministry Partnership Development
Support raising will not work if God is not in it, so you must fill the entire support-raising process with prayer!
Over the course of 2-4 months, you will complete an intensive course to prepare you well for the support-raising process. This will require about 4-8 hours of online course work per week. A partnership development coach will meet with you weekly throughout your entire support-raising process and help you through each step. Guiding you through questions such as:
- Who do I ask?
- How do I get people to meet with me?
- What do I need to communicate when I meet with people?
- How do I ask people to partner with me?
Once your training is complete, you will attend a Via Generosity Bootcamp to reinforce what you have learned and get you ready to start meeting with people face-to-face! Bootcamp is a two-day event hosted almost every month all over the U.S. We will work with you to find a date that makes sense for you.
We want to enable you to work on raising support as your full-time job. So we encourage you to end your employment, if at all possible, right before you go to Bootcamp so that you can hit the ground running with raising support full time!
Now it’s time to apply everything you have learned! Over the next six months, you will meet with 150 to 250 people face to face, intentionally sharing your ministry vision and financial goals and inviting them to partner with you in the work God is doing at SonSet Solutions. You will fill your schedule, having face-to-face meetings with as many people as the Lord will provide, specifically and prayerfully asking each of them to join your team until you reach 100%!
You are not alone in this! Your coach will continue to meet with you weekly, encouraging you, challenging you and helping you with whatever challenges you might face. SonSet Solutions is also behind you as an organization, as we will provide further resources and help throughout the process.
