As this year draws to a close, many people are saying, “This is crazy! What just happened??” The Old Testament prophet Habakkuk was also bewildered by developments in his day, and questioned where God was in it all. The Lord answered,

Look among the nations, and watch — wonder and BE AMAZED! For I am doing a work in your days that you would not believe, though it were told you. (Hab 1:5, MEV)

For six months, 3,600 SonSet^® radios destined for refugees in northern Uganda sat on our dock. International borders were closed — all transport halted. Then, a friend called me about someone he had just met. ”There might be a way the two of you could collaborate for the Kingdom.” This led to our radios sharing a large shipping container filled with urgently-needed relief supplies.

A refugee pastor from South Sudan learned that the radios were finally in Uganda and shared that travel restrictions had just been lifted in the settlements. Prior to this, distribution of the radios would not have been possible. Schools were also forced to abandon traditional classrooms, but, since refugees do not have access to the Internet, their classes are now airing over the Christian radio station that the SonSet radios were tuned to, months ago! Along with their schoolwork, students and their families will also learn of the life and hope available through Jesus Christ.

November 1 kicks off our year-end campaign to complete our funding goal of $455,000 so we can move forward aggressively into 2021, as we equip God’s faithful ambassadors with technology-based tools and services that multiply their reach.
